I definitely need to get back in the healthy swing of things. I need to move more (I literally sit at this computer for 12-14 hours a day, barely getting up.) I need to eat better (yes, even vegetarians can eat plenty unhealthy.)
For may years I had success with Weight Watchers, and I have often been dedicated about writing down everything I eat. I think it does make a difference. But I was always the kind of girl who got bored and needed new toys. Every time WW came out with a new toy for tracking your food and exercise I would buy it. In the last few years I have tried various software applications. They always fell down on the job, IMHO, because their food dictionaries were not complete enough, or it was too tedious and time-consuming to add in the nutritional value of the foods I ate. delightVITALITY has linked to yet another such tool: SparkPeople. So with the new year approaching perhaps this will be the next toy I try.
Anyone out there use it?

I've spent a little bit of time in the past on WW and eDiets and signed up for spark people after they went free. I think that all 3 of these sites are pretty similar to each other in terms of functionality and with spark people being free i'd say it definitely is worth it!

Thanks for the input Tim. I've been trying it for about a week and like it so far.
in addition to the huge benefit of being free, I like that the community can enter foods and their nutritional value for all to use.
It's made their food dictionary more robust I think.
