I don't talk Politics incredibly often on this blog, but I'm sure it's not hard to figure out my leanings. Matthew on the other hand is all about infusing his writings with his political positions and advocating for the political solutions that he thinks will work.
Here he points to and comments on writings that skewer the efficacy of the HSA (Health Savings Account) and then the CDHP (Consumer Directed Health Plan) concepts in turn.
At The Health Care Blog Matthew often points out what I fear but don't have the expertise to articulate: most ideas being tossed around to make health care more affordable and more comprehensive will help those who are pretty much young and healthy.
Most of these same ideas start to fall down when you get to the ill, the disabled, the elderly etc. Matthew is running a Health Care Reform competition. I wait with baited breath to see if he chooses a winner that solves everything!
